6. WHEN CAN I RESUME NORMAL DAILY ACTIVITIES?

Aptos Threads are a lunchtime procedure, and are performed under local anaesthetic. There are no incisions, stitches, scars or bandages. There may be some minor bruising that can be concealed by makeup. Most patients can return to work and light exercise on the next day. More aggressive exercise is usually 2 to 3 weeks post treatment.

7. WHAT ARE THE USUAL SIDE EFFECTS?

MD Cosmedical Solutions have not had any complications with Aptos Thread Lifts.  However in the event of increased redness & pain in the treatment area, or fevers, please contact the clinic.

8. APTOS THREAD LIFT AFTERCARE

The aftercare for Aptos Threads is simple but important:

• No facial massages or manipulation for the 1^st 4 weeks after procedure
• Simple analgesia (e.g. Paracetamol or Nurofen) for the first 24 to 48 hours if required
• Ice application to the treated area for the 1^st 24 to 48 hours
• Sleep on 1 extra pillow (slight elevation) for the 1^st 48 hours
• Take prophylactic antibiotic prescribed by your doctor for 7 days
